AI VS SEXISM: A NEWSROOM BATTLE
As part of my MSc in Digital Journalism, I was tasked with making a podcast episode that explored the use of algorithmic technology in journalism. I was keen to delve into experiments that have employed AI in attempts to mitigate gender bias in the newsroom. The piece includes interviews with journalists from The Financial Times (UK) and La Nacion Data (Argentina).
I achieved a distinction grade for this piece and the Course Leader is looking to enter it into a student journalism awards competition.
